I am a French game designer. I studied Game Design & Management for 5 years at Supinfogame RUBIKA. As a designer and a player, I'm mainly interested in two types of games.

First are competitive multiplayer games, such as League of Legends, Overwatch and a lot of other highly popular games. As a player it is a real pleasure to feel the thrill of the ranking system, to cooperate in a team made of strangers and to see the small progress made each game. As a designer I would like to create such a game but being in the team that follows the game and its balance would be an awesome work.
Second are games that try to push the boundaries of what a video game in term of art. What are the unique caracteristics of video games ? Interactivity ! I think that we still have a lot to discover to put the video game in the art world and give players truly impactful experiences.
My Hobbies
Art, Music and Cinema

I think art is the best way to create new questions in our mind. This is crucial for me to be creative, and to watch the world form another perspective. I’m very curious and passionate about contemporary art and original creations in general. Salvador Dalí and other surrealist artists were a starting point in my art passion. Nowadays, Art nouveau, contemporary art, installations and performances are what most interest me.

Music is a way of sharing and everyone who knows a bit of theory can quite easily transmit emotions through a simple melody. I have played the guitar for 12 years and have been doing electronic music for 4 years. With these two tools I have explored a large variety of styles and searched for what I really enjoy. Bands such as Tool are important references for me as a musician and a listener. I also really care about music in video games and how they can be a great way to give information to the player.

Cinema is one of my main influences for creating video games. Watching movies give emotions that I aim to create in video games but not only with cinematics or dialogue but with gameplay. Directors like Quentin Dupieux or Yórgos Lánthimos are important to me due to their decisions about writing and filming.
Science and philosophy

By science I mean reading articles, talking about science, watching videos and documentaries. Physics and biology have always fascinated me. Understanding how things work and putting images on things that are very small is extremely interesting. Being able to communicate some of those scientific things in games, helping players understand complex concepts is also a real pleasure.

Like with art, philosophy is a tool I use to try to see the world differently. It all started with questions about time, slowness and void. Curiously, I didn't quite read for a long time, but I am trying to redeem myself now.
My video game inspirations
Overwatch is one of my favorite competitive multiplayer games. Everything in this game from the design of the characters to the nervous but still readable gameplay is absolutely great. Great and creative level designs and a unique cast that can fit every style of gameplay. The team is constantly making adjustments on the game and adding content in a way I find smart and rational. Working on such titles would be a great way to improve my understanding of competitive games.

Florence was a game design shock. I'm deeply impressed by how the team managed to create such a meaningful experience with so little. And also how they give the inputs (or the absence of input) by the player a profound sense. It was one of my real only "artistic" contact with video games.
Pikmin is my childhood classic. I played this game so many times, watching my little army growing and helping my captain Olimar. Now that I am older and more aware, I realise how good the game is, and why it fascinated me so much back then. Everything is cute, fun and innovative. I really love the way they managed to make a game so deep, with those simple graphics (kinda ugly) and those so simple rules.
